      Verdict

      Age Of Kings gets a solid vote here ahead of Latif and Love Angel. It was no disgrace for Age Of Kings to be beaten by subsequent Royal Ascot at York winner Mostashaar on his seasonal return at Folkestone and his trainer has found him a fair opportunity to get off the mark today. A repeat of Latif's second to the Mark Johnston-trained Love In Seattle at Beverley last time out would give her a chance, while Johnston runs Love Angel today, who has displayed ability that has earned a rating in the mid-70s, which affords her respect from her in-form stable. Insignia cost 250,000 guineas but was disappointing in three starts for John Gosden, although he takes a big step up in trip for his new trainer today, and Barry Hills, who does so well here, runs Golden Grimshaw, who, much as he has failed to set the world alight in two starts, could improve for the step up in trip. With Needwood Scot needing to find improvement to feature, we return to the selection, which is Age Of Kings.
