Barry Hills does well with his runners here and GUNNER LINDLEY can boost his strike-rate; Professor John and Shibhan rate as the main dangers. The selection is a progressive colt and he ran a blinder to chase home Black Snowflake at Goodwood last month. He has conditions to suit here and a fair draw and he rates as the one to beat. Professor John was a little disappointing at Newmarket last time but he had previously won his maiden in good style at Brighton over 6f, so it is too early to be writing him off and he is respected. Shibhan has the plum draw and she ran well behind Skylla at Haydock over 5f. This longer trip is not sure to play to her strengths and on that basis we will take her on. Dolphin Rock has shown his best form so far on the all-weather, but if he can translate that to the turf then he would also have a chance. Gunner Lindley makes most appeal and he gets the vote.
