    Verdict

A wide open handicap rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events jockeyship is all important and with this in mind the principals look to be Lennel, Bucks, Giunchiglio and Milk And Sultana and the vote goes to Lennel. The selection was a fair third behind Melodian last time ands with the step up in trip sure to suit he is taken to score with one of the top amateurs booked. Bucks rates the main danger on his latest second behind Tender Falcon but that race was run at a suicidal pace and it is hard to weigh up the form. Giunchiglio is another worthy of respect. He was a fair fourth behind Rotuma last time and just gave the impression he was in the handicapper's grip. However, he will have the race run to suit and he has definite place claims. Of the remainder, Milk And Sultana was a fair second behind Pont Neuf last time and is another that could go well but he is rising in the weights and for the winner we return to Lennel.
