In the nursery, we are going to opt for Claret And Amber ahead of Following Flow, Lisa Mona Lisa and Young Thomas. The selection has really got his act together now and followed some promising efforts with a nice win at Redcar last time in a similar race. He carries a six-pound penalty for that but might be able to defy it, particularly as he is also stepped up to seven furlongs today. Following Flow came good over seven furlongs at Catterick last time and should progress again, although it is hard to fully quantify that form. A bonus for her is that Kieren Fallon is taking the ride. Lisa Mona Lisa, who has won two of her last four races and displayed solid enough form, and Young Thomas, who left the impression last time that seven furlongs would bring about some improvement in him, might prove best of the rest but, for us, the selection today is Claret And Amber.
