Hoh Wotanite, Franksalot and Violent Velocity are the three that catch the eye here, with Hoh Wotanite taken to follow up a last time out success. Franksalot scored on faster ground three outings ago and wasnt disgraced next time in an attempted follow up. He was found out in testing conditions last time, but is still capable of playing a leading role here despite top weight if the ground continues to dry up. Violent Velocity is another who boasts recent winning form, but he also prefers a faster surface, and may also now be in the handicapper's grip as two recent efforts would suggest. Hoh Wotanite is game and consistent and showed some zip to score at Wolverhampton last time. he has won on turf, and although he races off a seven pound higher mark here, there are enough doubts about the opposition to suggest that he can score again. Hoh Wotanite can make it a good finish for punters.
