with leader, driven to lead over 1f out, ridden and stayed on well final furlong
tracked leaders, driven 3f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on under pressure final furlong, took 3rd near finish
led, headed over 1f out, soon ridden and kept on same pace, lost 3rd near finish
behind, headway 3f out, ridden to chase winner entering final furlong, kept on held towards finish
This looks quite trappy but we will nominate DIJEER to get the better of Cloudy Start and Carcinetto. The selection should be suited by this track as he loves to dictate from the front and if his jockey can get him out quickly to lead from stall 4 then he should take plenty of beating. Cloudy Start is a likeable colt and it was no surprise to see him finish down the field off a mark of 108 in a handicap at Goodwood back in July. He can go well back in this company while Carcinetto won over the course and distance in a handicap last month and she has to be respected from the plum draw. Cyflymder looks to have a little to find with the others, so in an open event we will put forward Dijeer as the pick.
