In depth

Verdict

BY YOUR SIDE has won over hurdles since joining Gordon Elliott but also won three times on the level when trained in this country and is partnered by the crack apprentice Billy Loughnane. Aqwaam won off a similar mark last year and ran well at Doncaster last week while Claritudo won under today’s rider at Pontefract but is 6lb higher for this. The latter beat subsequent Beverley winner The Nu Form Way while Two Brothers was also successful at the latter track recently and Greystoke has been threatening to score on the all-weather.
