River Alhaarth made a highly satisfactory reappearance at Newbury last month and is taken to resume winning ways at the main expense of Gringo and Jack of Trumps. The last mentioned is entitled to come on for his reappearance effort and has a decent draw in stall two so has to be respected. Quizzene would take all the beating if he was able to reproduce the form that he showed to win here last term but Mark Johnston's gelding has been expensive to follow since then and is hard to recommend. Mick Easterby's Sporting Gesture is gradually coming back to a fair mark and a market move for him would be of interest, while Nessen Dorma is gradually dropping down the weights but is still 5lbs higher than when last successful. Anything that Barry Hills sends out as this fixture has to be respected and Gringo is no exception but River Alhaarth is less exposed than his opponents and is taken to resume winning ways.
