My Aunt Fanny is the selection in this contest with Hilbre Court and Mangham. Andrew Balding has made no secret of the regard in which he holds this filly and granted normal improvement and from a helpful draw, she could add to her recent success over course-and-distance. Hilbre Court ran an eyecatcher at Kempton but bombed out badly at Windsor. He has a battle on to beat the handicapper but on his better efforts, he shouldn't be too far away if the first time blinkers work. Front-running Mangham is always dangerous if getting a soft lead. The assessor is not altogether pleased with his consistency. Kingdom Of Fife is one to note in the market on handicap introduction. Bowder Stone will be aided in the event of softening ground as his Newcastle effort appears to suggest. Fujin Dancer looked a little unlucky in running at Hamilton. Always Cruising has proved something of a disappointment. Joinedupwriting looks outclassed. A fair contest on paper and My Aunt Fanny is recommended as our nomination.
