Verdict

Doughnut is our selection in this contest with Countrywide City and Madame Trop Vite providing the most obvious opposition. The selection ran a fair fourth in the Marygate Stakes at York and while she did disappoint at Windsor on her latest start, we'll give her another chance here. Countrywide City possesses plenty of pace. He was comprehensively held in a Novice event at the track last month. Madame Trop Vite won on debut at this course and was tried in better grade last time. There is a suspicion that cut in the ground will help. Digit does little to help herself by hanging left. Our Wee Girl is still a maiden and looks to have it all to do. A few of these have obvious question marks to answer and we'll stick with Doughnut.
