In depth

Verdict

COOL MACAVITY should have learned plenty from his handicap debut at Pontefract. Still unexposed, Barry Hills' gelding could be the one to beat here though Rigolleto would have a big chance if able to reproduce the form of his third at Newbury in April and finished ahead of Fred Willetts at Doncaster last weekend. Julius Geezer appears to have lost his way while Kingscroft and Strictly Pink have shown their best form so far on the Polytrack so Barista may be best of the rest.
