Verdict

Courtland King and Economic Crisis are starting to look a little exposed but there are plenty of others with solid claims in this maiden, including newcomers Big Note and Prince Gabriel. SHERE KHAN was beaten at odds-on on his debut at Brighton but stepped up on that effort when third to the speedy Arnold Lane at Leicester. Nicely drawn here, he is fancied to get off the mark at the chief expense of Kool Henry, second to Es Que Love at Beverley last time. Miss Lahar disappointed at Bath on her latest start while Nearly A Gift will have to step up on her second at Hamilton to get competitive here.
