Course winner Ooh Aah Camara is set to go up 5lbs in future handicaps following an improved display at Redcar last time but he may not be as effective over this extra furlong and preference is for Peter Island, who gets the vote ahead of the lightly raced Makfly. The last mentioned has to be of interest from the plum draw but Reg Hollinshead's gelding looks to have plenty of weight for what he has achieved and he may be best watched on his return. Orpsie Boy has claims on the pick of his juvenile form but lack of a recent run has to be of concern, while Figaro Flyer could do with some help from the handicapper. Violent Velocity is open to improvement but needs to if he is to trouble the judge, while a market move for Richard Fahey's Colorus would be of interest. The vote then goes to Peter Island, who comes here on top of his game and is set to go up another 3lbs in future weights.
