The high draw will make life difficult for Colonel Mak so we will side with GWYNEDD who in turn is preferred to Michaelmas Daisy. The selection hails from a yard in red hot form and this filly could be one to stay on the right of. She showed a good attitude to win a maiden at Lingfield last month and from a decent draw she can score again. Michaelmas Daisy also has the benefit of a good draw but she was all-out to score last time and she could be vulnerable today under a 6lbs penalty. Colonel Mak is quickly turned out after chasing home Take It To The Max at Pontefract on Tuesday but he has the worst of the draw tonight and he will need some luck if he is to get his head in front from stall 10. Tom Dascombe does well with his sprinters and the well drawn Antonius Moris is another worth consideration, but Gwynedd looks a nice filly and she gets the vote.
