After running a big race in defeat last time CRACKDOWN can go one better here in this ultra competitive handicap and is taken to score ahead of Killachy Star and Mutawarath. The tactics of trying to burn off the field almost worked for the pick last time in a similarly strong race when he battled to only get collared late on. He races off the same mark again and if he runs another prominent race he has every chance. Killachy Star seems to be an animal still on the upgrade and will be searching for a hat-trick here. He'll have more to do here stepping up in grade and with six pounds extra on his back but he still looks to have a bit more improvement to offer. Mutawarath and Mohtashem make handicap debuts here after both left there maiden's tags behind last time out and while they are entitled to go well they are not obviously brilliantly treated so in a tough race to start Crackdown lands the selection.
