Hoof It should bounce back to form now down in weight and class but THAWAAB hasn't been beaten far in Group Company so now in the handicap ranks looks to have a clear chance while Magcial Macey has been running well at this level recently. Only held just over a length by Burning Thread in the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown last time the pick makes a handicap debut off what looks a light looking rating. Further to that listed form Mick Channon's runner wasn't beaten that far in a Group Three at Ascot in October so he looks to have outstanding claims. Hoof It landed at hat-trick before being a little out classed in the Reg Griffin Memorial Trophy last time. His last score at Haydock promised that there would be more to come and based on that run he looks fairly treated back at this level. Magical Macey's run at Doncaster in April offered hope of much more so while she hasn't delivered in a couple of subsequent starts she needs to be considered as does Diman Waters who should be close to Hoof It based on there last meeting. High Spice is another name to throw into the mix after a nice victory last time but with this a tougher assignment a better bet looks to be Thawaab.
