Although the low draw is obviously favoured around here, there is a lot of pace in the higher numbers and the likes of Damalis, Henry Hall and Charlie Parkes all like to burst from the stalls with a flourish. Therefore a high berth may not be too much of a disadvantage, especially if the ground on the inside rail has started to cut up from two days of racing. Bali Royal is another who likes to dominate her field and if she can assert her presence early on, she will be very hard to catch here. She had a prolific strike-rate last term and finished the season a staggering 31 lb higher in the ratings as a result. There was not much between her and Charlie Parkes on her reappearance, but the run should have done her some good and she can confirm the form. Lord Kintyre, is not without claims on the pick of his efforts, but his tendency to give ground away at the start could count against him here. Corridor Creeper is another who is respected but would appear to be the stable's second string today.
