Verdict

Richard Fahey has trained two of the three previous winners and GABRIAL THE WIRE has won three times here in the past. He’s back on a winning mark and Fern O’Brien is good value for her 3lb allowance. Parys Mountain won one of these events here last autumn and could return to form but the veteran Fieldsman scored at Brighton recently. Mercurius Power has slipped back down the weights and is preferred to Carnival Zain while Vissani debuts for a new yard having won over a longer trip in France.
