Verdict

Both Sir Boss and Carter have been in terrific form on the Polytrack over the winter but they may be vulnerable now their attention is switched back to turf. Lovers Causeway also has questions to answer on this surface but Captain John Nixon and Dynamic Drive should both strip fitter for their comeback runs and C&D winner Oriental Cavalier ran well at Haydock last month, though is 3lb higher now. Destinys Dream and Granny McPhee have also been successful around here in the past but the interesting one may be LEADER OF THE LAND. David Lanigan's gelding proved himself to be something of a Beverley specialist last year but also ran well at Windsor and Sailsbury and there's a good chance he will find further improvement this season - he still doesn't look badly treated ahead of his reappearance.
