As in the opening race, the finale is also one in which the draw will play a major part, with the likes of Sierra Vista, Chico Guapo and Thurlestone Rock all berthed on the inside and expected to dominate, but Not So Dusty, drawn in eight can put up a bold show. Peter Makin's charge has been confined to the all-weather so far but did not take long to open his account on Lingfield's Polytrack recently. His style of running will be suited to Chester's turns and he can go in at a nice price. Sierra Vista has topweight but ran a blinder here in nursery company last August when only beaten a neck by Tender after losing lots of ground from her wide draw. She was giving that animal lumps of weight as well so David Barker's filly, fourth at Ripon on her reappearance is one for the short-list. We would be more keen on Ivania if she had a lower draw and was not having her first outing of the current campaign-however, she did win at this three-day fixture last year so obviously handles the Roodye. Chico Guapo has a light weight and is well drawn in one, that is if breaking well, while Thurlestone Rock is better than he has shown on two runs so far this term. Bond Playboy and Dusty Dazzler cannot be left out of calculations either, but Not So Dusty gets the vote.
