A typically low grade sprint with plenty of runners and little in the way of overall quality and THE NAME IS FRANK can take it at the expense of Outer Hebrides and Calypso Girl. A win ratio of 1-19 is hardly something that would make you rush out to back any horse though it is worth noting that our selection ran well in a Newcastle contest on Friday that featured horses that had much better formlines than a number of these participants offer. Outer Hebrides is one of a typical battalion from the Milton Bradley yard. He has won under today's apprentice though invariably seems to look as if he has far more to offer than he actually does. Calypso Girl was rated in the mid 80's. The handicapper has played his part by dropping her down the weights though little of note has been forthcoming. The application of fresh headgear and the booking of Jimmy Fortune are nevertheless interesting. Cwmni won a Bath seller at massive odds last time out. The History Man ran a thorough stinker at Southwell and is arguably best watched at present. Compton Rose is still a maiden though rates a rare runner at such lowly levels for Henry Candy. Leo's Lucky Angel has been placed off similar marks in Ireland last year and would be a factor if fit enough first time out. The Name Is Frank is given the nod.
