A decent sprint in which COCOA BEACH is given another chance to show her last of eight performance at Bath was all wrong. She'd previously looked really progressive for the Prescott team and something was clearly amiss on that occasion as she faded away so tamely. Hopefully the market will speak well of her chance on this return to action. There are plenty of battle-hardened sprinters in opposition, of which Pixeleen and Sir Billy Wright make appeal from the head of the weights and Vincentti from the lower reaches of the handicap. All are tough, reliable and consistent. However, fellow three-year-old Nisser could prove the likeliest danger to the selection on the back of a sequence of commendable efforts in useful handicap company. He now has his first run for Robert Cowell after leaving the Hannon team.
