Verdict

Mountain Kingdom hasn't achieved a great deal, including in handicaps, but his overall form suggests he can get into the frame again though he's well exposed. Simiel showed some potential in bumpers and over hurdles before sent chasing but he hasn't taken to the bigger obstacles and reverts back to timber. Shumaker made a reasonable debut on heavy going at Sligo and should show some improvement but it's FIELD OF LIGHT who looks the one to be on. Gordon Elliott's charge, placed on several occasions for Ed Dunlop, made his debut for the stable in a much better race than this at Galway and though taking an age to warm to his task eventually got the hang of the job and stayed on nicely.
