Verdict

Kings Krackertara stepped up to this trip for the first time at Newbury and, though probably fortunate when the leader fell two out, won easily in the end and a pound rise looks lenient. KINGSMILL GIN was always prominent when scoring comfortably at Exeter and, though 6lb higher, his rider's claim halves the extra so he can go in again. Doyens De Ante has never won but has been going well at a similar level as has Wind Tor but Felton Bellevue was beaten a long way at Plumpton after a narrow defeat at Lingfield.
