Verdict

A tongue-tie is added to Midnight Mary’s headgear after going close at Warwick but she’s at her best on soft ground and WALK IN CLOVER is preferred. The latter has her ground again having won a tougher contest at Cheltenham last week despite racing from a stone out of the handicap. Dan Skelton’s mare is due to be raised 11lb after this. Lily Glitters will also relish the underfoot conditions as she drops back down in class and is preferred to Lady Tremaine while Western Jill makes her chasing debut.
