Verdict

Royal Lake won on soft going at Fontwell last time while it was testing ground when Tiny Tantrum scored at Stratford. Hillfinch has improved for the step up in distance and went close again over track and trip recently but CAN’T BEAT HISTORY (NAP) is another expected to improve for the greater test of stamina after just missing out at Doncaster on his handicap debut. Robber's Bridge remains unexposed while handicap debutant Montmartin makes more appeal than stablemate On The Bandwagon.
