In depth

Verdict

A race little better than plating class and PACCO is the pick with Scalini's and Benitez the alternatives. Pacco appears to be best with sticky going obtaining and having had a recent run under his belt, it is to be hoped that he is able to do himself justice today but one couldn't be entirely confident. Scalini's had Benitez behind when the pair met at Hereford. The rider rather stole that race so it remains to be seen as to whether the same tactics can work twice. Young Lorcan is now heading to the veteran stage of his career but he has gone well for conditional riders in the past. Aheadofhistime put up another solid display at this track but the consistency that he has shown has not shaped too well with the handicapper of late. Fortune Point has had plenty of names called in the past and we seek not to add to them. Pacco is picked in a trappy event for the punters.
