A good race in which TAMADOT can make race fitness count against Picts Hill and Honour High. Tamadot ran a pleasing race under topweight on reappearance at Cheltenham and while the handicapper has been a little harsh in pushing him 5lb up the handicap, this level of opposition looks weaker on paper and he can make it count today. Picts Hill has some very solid novice form on the board though he has had a season off. The jockey bookings suggest he is favoured to So Now, who has looked a chasing type in the making. That said, he beat an ordinary field at Perth with a fair degree of panache. Honour High was a useful novice in the earlier part of the year. He was put in his place by two fair rivals at Ayr so it remains to be seen as to whether he is so attractively handicapped these days. Kim Bailey's stable have had a quiet month so Paddy's Tern would be a welcome winner for the Gloucestershire handler. Charles Street has come on significantly since joining current connections from the Chris Grant yard. He showed no signs of stopping when successful at Fontwell. The best race on the card without question and Tamadot can prove a worthy winner.
