AILSA CRAIG can make up for some near misses in this fillies' handicap and she gets the vote over Chatanoogachoochoo and Foreign Investment. Trainer Richard Hannon has his string in good form and Ailsa Craig proved her ability to see out this trip at Doncaster last time when she chased home Mo Mhuirnin. She will handle the ground and she certainly looks like she has a small race like this in her. Chatanoogachoochoo is interesting as she ran her best race yet over a mile here last time behind Sir Ike. It is curious that connections have decided to drop her in trip and it should be noted that her poorest run to date came on a soft surface. Foreign Investment should be suited by this drop in trip but she is another who has never raced on ground as soft as this. Ken's Girl is quite consistent and she will be suited by tonight's ground conditions so she can go well at a price. However, Ailsa Craig has not done a lot wrong in her last two starts and she is taken to get her reward tonight.
