John Locke, a half-brother to three winners, and Sea Bay, who cost 85,000gns, are both from stables capable of getting one ready at home. Zagrah was runner-up to the Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Miss Yoda at Kempton last August but TAJAMHOR wears his owner’s first colours and is the choice of Dane O’Neill. There was a lot to like about the latter’s debut at Lingfield earlier this month and he should build on that on this more galloping track. Damage Control didn’t do a lot wrong in four runs last year and again on his reappearance in a Kempton handicap but others have more scope. Guardia Top did well over hurdles last season and will make sure there is a strong gallop but she’s likely to get swamped for pace in the closing stages.
