    Verdict

Campari ran well on his second start as a two-year-old but efforts either side were disappointing. He has been gelded, however, so improvement may be forthcoming. Al Qaasim has also had a gelding operation and he was staying on strongly at Haydock two weeks ago after missing the break. He’ll know more today but we like the look of HELVEZIA with her fillies’ allowance. A £60,000 half-sister to three winners, a mile will probably prove her optimum trip and Ralph Beckett’s newcomers usually know what’s required. Mahanakhon Power cost £380,000 but his breeding is all about stamina while Godolphin’s Secret Moment has a Dirt pedigree.
