PEACHEY CARNEHAN justified market support over 6f here last week. He has won over this extra furlong and has a decent strike-rate for a handicapper so, though the penalty is a worry today, he is probably the one to beat. Mick Appleby is likely to exploit Champagne Bob’s lowly mark sooner rather than later and Fieldsman ran well enough at Chelmsford to merit consideration.
