WASNTME is fancied to appreciate the step back up in trip over fences here as we prefer him to Fourpointone and Montana Gold. Colin Tizzard's Flemensfirth gelding was well-held on his recent run over hurdles at the track but that should have put him spot on for this. He is a course and distance winner and as long as he handles this quick ground ok he should run well. Montana Gold ran well at the track last time and this longer trip wont be a problem, however his profile is one of near misses and win backers may be left frustrated once again. Fourpointone got the job done at Fontwell last month when a well-backed favourite but it was quite hard work. As a result the handicapper hasn't been harsh with a 3lb rise in the weights and as a proven winner on quick ground he should go well. Orphelin Collonges has become disappointing but as a result looks fairly handicapped now, Heart Springs has bounced back to form recently and the mare should run well, whilst Impact Zone needs close scrutiny in the betting. He is unexposed over fences but this former point-to-point winner will relish the longer trip this afternoon. Arceye may fare better after his break, however narrow preference is for Wasntme.
