QUO VIDEO is preferred to fellow recent winner The Brimmer and also Woodlark Island in what looks a hotly contested handicap. Tim Vaughan's gelding hadn't been with the yard for too long but he was able to spring a surprise on just his second start for the yard when winning at Wincanton last time out. He seemed to relish the quick ground there and with similar conditions this evening he looks sure to run well. Bundle Up has a nice pull in the weights with The Brimmer for a half-length defeat at Exeter last time; both are considered as they step up in trip, especially the former point-to-pointer The Brimmer. Midnight Appeal is open to improvement on this handicap debut; he has contested some good races and there are hints to suggest that this quicker ground will suit. Flexi Time was third to The Brimmer last time and is considered with the blinkers applied for the first time, Woodlark Island flopped at Wetherby last time out but that was a very quick run over an inadequate trip so better is expected today, whilst Mister Buttons was in the process of running a good race when falling at the last at Wexford in July. He is considered on his first start for a Nikki Evans, however preference is for Quo Video.
