Rondeau was in good heart in the autumn and he would have every chance if able to reproduce that level of form on his first start since October but a safer option looks to be BATELEUR, who gets the vote with Millfields Dreams rated the best of the rest. The selection has shown improved form of late having only been out of the frame once in his last six starts and Mick Channon's gelding has an obvious chance of resuming winning ways. With Richard Hannon's team in good heart, Getcarter has to be respected but he needs to step up on previous form to trouble the judge. Milton Bradley's Ghost Dancer ran better at Nottingham earlier this month and has claims if able to build on that effort, while Just Jimmy is probably better over seven furlongs. Golden Dixie has run a couple of reasonable races of late and he has to be considered along with Brendan Powell's Who's Winning but he has a bit to find with the selection on running last time. Giles Bravery's Millfields Dreams found Cape Rock just a short head too good here last time and he has every chance but a 4lb rise for that seems a shade harsh and preference is for the consistent and in-form Bateleur.
