It is to be hoped that Sunny Future is better than he showed on his reappearance at Salisbury earlier this month but it may be that he just has not trained on and preference is for ROYAL SUPERLATIVE, who gets the vote ahead of Stellar Cause. Paul Cole's colt made a promising debut at Newbury last month but failed to build on that at Windsor last week and he looks best watched after that effort. Stan Moore's son of Orpen, Flying Gazebo, would not need to be anything out of the ordinary to take a hand in the finish here and it will be interesting to see how he shapes in the market. Dramatic Jewel makes slightly less appeal first time out for John Hills, while Errol Flynn finished last on his Newmarket debut in an admittedly better race than this but he is hard to recommend. The vote then goes to Ralph Beckett's Royal Superlative, who improved from the form shown on her only start as a juvenile when finishing a creditable fourth over course and distance last month and she looks the one they all have to beat.
