The days of THE TATLING racing at Royal Ascot and winning the King's Stand Stakes as he did in 2004 are now long since gone but Milton Bradley's gelding retains ability and enthusiasm for the game and he is taken to resume winning ways, getting the verdict ahead of Green Lagonda and The Name Is Frank. Mark Gillard's gelding disappointed in a handicap at Windsor when last seen in October but previous form in this grade is fair and he has to be considered on his reappearance. Tony Carroll's Sofinella has lost her way in handicaps of late but may do better dropped into a claimer. Spic 'n Span has been running well in handicaps and claimers on the Fibresand but he is better on that surface than on turf so may be best watched, while Spanish Ace looks the clear second best of Milton Bradley's four runners in the race. Stef Liddiard's Green Lagonda has been running well of late and a reproduction of recent form will see him go close but The Tatling has an obvious chance dropped into this grade and he gets the vote.
