In depth

Verdict

Devon Envoy couldn’t cope with a 7lb rise when on a hat-trick at Leicester and has been raised a further pound since. Wearing cheekpieces after a short break, DARK SWANSONG is looking well treated on her two-year-old form and gets a tentative vote, though Aunt Bethany can be excused her run at Royal Ascot having finished second at Newmarket before that. Letter Of The Law only won a claimer at Leicester and debuts for a new yard but Stockpyle wasn’t beaten far when favourite last time at Newbury.
