Verdict
Gilt Edge and Say Grace were both engaged in the 8.38 Newbury last night. Port Noir is visored after a below-par effort over course and distance last time but recent Newbury winner Silent Flame makes more appeal. Fast ground and a shorter trip didn’t suit ADAAY IN ASIA (NAP) at Bath but she was keeping on and conditions here will be much more to her liking. The extra furlong at Carlisle last time proved beyond Kodias Sangarius and she should also do better here.
