Sunday City probably found the ground too testing at Southwell when last seen and could be of interest back on a more suitable surface today but Peter Bowen's gelding remains plenty high enough in the weights and preference is for What A Vintage, who gets the vote over Nick's Choice. The last mentioned was never likely to trouble easy winner Capitana on Wednesday and is likely to find this opposition less exacting but he may have to settle for a minor role behind What A Vintage. The Richard Phillips-trained mare has done little wrong this term and, with the stable continuing in good form, she is taken to bounce back from a slightly disappointing effort last time. Brendar missed an engagement earlier this week because of unsuitably fast ground and has to be respected if any rain arrives but, unless it does, he is hard to back with confidence. Cockatoo Ridge showed improved form behind Wellbeing last time and has to be considered on that evidence, while Imazulutoo could be of interest on his first start since joining the yard of Evan Williams. Jockser has claims on the pick of his form but is inconsistent and a better bet looks to be What A Vintage who gets the vote.
