Verdict

This is not the strongest of maidens and it looks to be a good opportunity for Best Before to get off the mark at the seventh time of asking. Although a watchful eye should be kept on the Mick Channon-trained newcomer Princess Anabaa in the early betting market for the race. Karaoke King appeals the most out of those likely to be available at longer odds but, like Rival, he is already exposed as being nothing out of the ordinary and is one to be wary of for win only purposes. So Best Before, who has not really enjoyed the rub of the green on occasions, would not really have to pull out all the stops to come out on top if he runs anywhere near his official mark today. Evening Encore is another to consider if the betting speaks against Best Before.
