This should not take too much winning and Well Gone should live up to his name as far as his four rivals are concerned, with Danzig Prince the main danger. Well Gone has not been the easiest horse to train, but battled on well to land a bumper at Newton Abbot recently, and will benefit greatly from that confidence-booster. He was rather unlucky the time before when his saddle slipped, and and should be capable of going in at the first time of asking over hurdles. Danzig Prince was disappointing on the Flat and his third in a selling hurdle at Southwell does not inspire the greatest confidence, while Exodus, third at Ascot in April, has had the benefit of a spin on the level at Goodwood to blow the cobwebs away, although he was last of seven. In a weak race, take Well Gone to come out on top.
