In depth

Verdict

Cuban Cigar has stamina on his dam’s side but is a half-brother to a winning sprinter and has already been gelded. He also wears blinkers on his debut which is off-putting. Lady Leonie, related to several winners, and Semper Augustus, a £42,000 full brother to a 1m4f winner, are more interesting newcomers but the experience of Lingfield third DROMQUINNA should stand her in good stead with further improvement likely. Miss Paloma is well bred but may need this.
