        Verdict

        Avenue Of Stars disgraced himself on his return to action at Chelmsford but was on his best behaviour when a 33/1 chance at Kempton. Even with a penalty, he is still theoretically well treated but comes with risks attached and will likely be a short price. We’d rather take a punt on CASTLEREA TESS, a winner over track and trip a year ago and far from disgraced at Haydock nine days ago when in need of the outing. Kinglami has been a regular here down the years but isn’t getting any younger but Pastfact could figure in first-time cheekpieces.
