In depth

Verdict

A large field goes to post for this novices hurdle but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the confident vote goes to Tell The Trees with Zouave and Noble Request rating the main dangers. The selection won well on his debut when defeating Taranai, he is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement he is taken to win again under conditions that suit.Zouave won at up to a mile on the flat and is from a yard that can ready a hurdling newcomer so he is worth noting in the market.Noble Request is another worthy of respect he has won at up to 10 furlongs on the level and is from a top yard but all his best form is on soft ground and he may find this fast ground to lively to be seen at his best. Oh Sunny Boy has shown a modicum of ability over hurdles but he has been well beaten in a seller in the past and will need to improve to score. Of the remainder Hold The Line is a rare runner over hurdles for his shrewd yard so is another to note in the market but for the winner we return to Tell The Trees who was impressive on his debut.
