Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the main protagonists look to be Fontanesi, Wasted Talent and Chief Yeoman and we will take a chance on Fontanesi. The selection was pulled up in as much better race behind Mr Ed last time but he has been given time to get over those exertions and with his yard now back in better form he is taken to score under conditions that suit. Wasted Talent rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Belle Rouge and although this is much more competitive he remains at the right end of the weights and will not be far away. Chief Yeoman is another that could go well he was a good third in a top novice event behind Lough Derg when last seen but he will do well to win this off top weight and for that reason he is opposed.Dalaram is a fair sort at his best but he has two ways of running so he can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Shamdian has been disappointing of late but if he could reproduce his effort that saw him finish second behind Sir Laughalot he would have definite place claims but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Fontanesi in the hope that he can bounce back to his best.
