Ron Harris has a virtual battalion of entries in this contest but he could find that TADLIL may stop his raid on this prize despite the obvious claims of Stamford Blue and Gioacchino. Followers of Tadlil have endured a very lean time as he has struggled to get his head infront for many moons. That said, he shaped well in a recent outing at Bath and if he can nick an uncontested lead, he may just be able to right one or two of those previous wrongs. Stamford Blue handles fast ground and while he has dropped massively in the weights that has not been without good reason. Gioacchino was second in a recent seller at Ripon but he is particularly well drawn this evening and should go well at a price. Bohobe has claims on the basis of a recent success at Salisbury. Neil Callan replaces an apprentice who was riding his first ever winner under rules. Just Jimmy appears to have raced exclusively at Chepstow for the last few months. The visor that accompanied his recent second over the course and distance is surprisingly absent. Miss Firefly steps up from racing at the minimum trip. Plumage was well beaten in a maiden handicap having attracted plenty of support so the market is watched in order to see if those backers are on a recovery mission. Mr Skipiton has been unable as yet to translate polytrack form onto a turf based surface. A tough finale that can go to Tadlil.
