CAPTAIN JACKSPARRA can land this prize at the principal expense of Dichoh and No Supper. Connections are clearly unhappy about his current handicap mark so claiming contests have been his medium these days. He was probably outstayed at Carlisle last time out but the figures suggest that he has a big chance and we will follow suit. Dichoh is capable though frustrating. The reapplication of a visor has made little difference. No Supper is better known as a National Hunt performer these days so the market is watched. Marino Prince has shown form on the flat in the past albeit on Wolverhampton's polytrack. Tanforan won under a well judged ride in an amateur riders contest but could not necessarily be relied upon to reproduce that form at will. Red Current rarely wins though could have place claims. Gunner Be Lucky was tailed off in a bumper and now reverts to the summer code. A race of limited betting appeal and Captain Jacksparra is our idea of the most likely winner.
