Verdict

Little Farmer, Soundtrack, Nautical Lad and Tanager look the principals in another tight affair and the tentative vote goes to Nautical Lad. The selection has been in fine form between the flags of late and he won well last time out when defeating Franco. If he is as effective over these regulation fences he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Little Farmer rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Splash And Dash but he lacks the scope of the selection and for that reason he is opposed. Soundtrack is another that could go well but he was well behind Coole Venture at Sandown last time and will need to improve on that effort to score. Of the remainder Tanager and Victoria's Boy have place claims on their best form but they are very onepaced and for the winner we return to Nautical Lad.
