Verdict

Minella Awards, runner-up to Low Sun in a Grade B handicap hurdle at Galway when conceding 15lb, only had one rival to beat at Aintree but jumped really well and has a fine pedigree for chasing. THE WORLDS END had some tremendous form over timber in his novice season culminating in a Grade 1 victory at Aintree. He didn't do quite as well as expected last term but ran in top staying races and looked a very promising recruit to fences when beating Now McGinty 14l at Chepstow. Theatre Territory hasn't won in six starts over the bigger obstacles but has some very smart form in Grade 3 company including when third in the Topham at Aintree and her allowance is a bonus. Shannon Bridge, beaten a short-head in the Grade 2 River Don Novices' Hurdle at Doncaster, has experience over these fences having finished third last month and though Ibis Du Rheu is 0-7 over fences he's competed at a high level. Brynmawr did well over hurdles but is up against it on his chasing debut.
